Meet Emily G. Wilkins, PA-C

Emily Wilkins was born and raised in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. She attended Western Carolina University where she earned her undergraduate degree in emergency medicine. Upon graduation, she served our local counties for seven years as a paramedic. Longing for ways to advance her medical training and give back to her community, Emily chose to continue her education at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She earned her degree as a Physician Assistant and returned to Western North Carolina where she began practice at local urgent care centers. After working in the hustle and bustle of urgent care and seeing many ENT related issues, Emily developed an advanced interest in conditions affecting the ears, nose and throat. We were delighted to welcome her to our ENT team in January 2024. She has significant procedural experience due to her time spent as a paramedic and PA in the urgent care setting. She has specific interest in the areas of allergy and sinus and is looking forward to working with our clinical team to continue to serve the local community.

Emily is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and North Carolina Association of Physician Assistants.
